Ha! Was not expecting to hear a version like this.
Wasn't expecting 2/4.
Nor was I expecting Skeeter.

Delightful, none-the-less.
Thanks so much for sharing, Dave.

Who's doing the great guitar work?
-----------------
p.s. what's NRBQ? |

NRBQ is a legendary "roots music" band-I 'forget' that not everyone knows of them, seeing as I've been listening to them since the 70's...:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRBQ
their bass player was married to Skeeter Davis.
The guitar player is Al Anderson, Tele wrangler, also a great songwriter. |

Thanks Dave.
Didn't know that Skeeter-NRBQ connection. She's...cute, singing that. Like a little girl instead of a show tune belter.
And I ain't dead yet---cheerful as hell this morning thanks to Mr. Emmons. |

I believe Joey Spampinato (Skeeter's husband) played bass in Chuck Berry's film Hail Hail Rock'n Roll.
Together with Keith Richards.
