My Fiance and I are going to Ireland next weekend to attend a country music festival with George Jones as the headliner. Stonewall Jackson, Gene Watson, Ricky Scaggs, Nancy Griffith, and many others. Over 50 artists,some of whom are Irish. Should be a real great time, and lots of steelers to listen too!! :)Anyone else from the forum going? |

I cut that record in 1961 in Hartford Conn. Forgot about it until one day recently I saw that it was on ebay as a collectors item, and it actually sold for 600.00!!!!! At the same time I found that I was in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame!!! I had never been made aware of any of these things. My fiancee, who is much more computer literate than myself discovered all of these facts.Stretch, and I are still in touch, in fact I'll be going to Georgia to see him in Oct. My fiancee, and I are getting married in Sieverville Tenn.. The record is also still in circulation. Mostly in Europe, and the Netherlands on compilation cds. Sorry I got to rambling!!
