In case some steelers didn't know.
Gary has made some mods recently to this guitar that he will be happy to do.
It takes the guitar to another level.
I was in his shop a week ago and he had several guitars he was doing the mods to and this guitar is now so incredible that it was just amazing to see the difference from when I had a Rains which was a spectacular guitar but know even better.
I wouldn't know if this guitar has those new mods, I would think it would be hard to give up either way.
If not I know Gary would do it and someone would have a dream guitar for the price being shown.
Just so you know if you haven't played a Rains lately your missing out.
Fabulous guitar in a league that very few guitars are in with the new changes. |

This guitar does not have the mod. I know because I just got mine done. It played great before, but now it's absolutely perfect. I highly recommend getting it done.
Nice looking steel. |

These guitars are going up in price because of the non stop quest of quality Gary Carpenter puts into these guitars. He keeps the price down as much as he can but to see the difference in person and know there are no legs ect coming out of China to save a few bucks here and there so the guitar is a lifetime guitar.
Not to mention a tone thing recently.
A new one is a super investment, but to get a good used one like this and have the mods done then your set. |
