How many out there are using the 100w Vibrasonic with the Emenance 15?
I had a chance to pick one up and from the first venue I brought it out on I was impressed. This seems a great choice in the Fender combo line for a guitarist/steel player. What are your thoughts on this amp?

Scott, I have one. Only played it a couple of times on shows and it did OK. Right now I got distortion when there is very much volume. I am assuming I need to replace some tubes. This one was made in the 90's. By the way, this is not the only amp I have. I have several Peavey's.

I played pedal steel with one for awhile. I liked the tube tone better than my Peavey NV400. At the time I was playing with a very loud neorockabilly/alt-country band, and it didn't quite have enough clean headroom. It is a modern pc-board that seems to shoot more for the black-face tone than the cleaner silver-face tone. But if you are not playing with a super loud group, it is a great amp for steel. I like the sound of a JBL D130f, like came in the original '70s silver-face Vibrosonic, better than the Eminence. But the Eminence can take more power without blowing.

I've got one and have been using it regularly for the past year on all my gigs. Mine is clean to the top but not as warm as my Twin reissue with the 15 inch eminence, but the twin has no where near the clean headroom as the custom vibrasonic. I use the guitar channel for steel because I like the fatter sound and on my amp I cant hear any difference on the sweet switch.

I used one on the studio for a few sessions and had great results. I could never dial it in for live performance though for PSG. It worked great for Telecaster live for me. I sold mine.
