What may be the problems, and solutions to, when bringing up a song (MP3, etc.) from the forum, and after a few seconds of playing, it quits? |

Stuffed sofware needing a re-install / upgrade?
Have you tried playing it through a different mp3 player on the same machine? |

Are you on a dial-up connection? where you get a lot of stops, buffering, etc? |

Thanx, guys. I'll ask my friend who's having the problems about this. |

I had that problem too. What's worse, when the music stopped, one of the chairs was missing! _________________ www.JimCohen.com

What is probably happening is that the download speed is not up to par. That would certainly be the case with dial-up and even happens from time to time with broadband. First time through, just let the track spit and sputter til the end and hit play again. It should be buffered/downloaded and play all the way through without interruption.
Whatever you do, don't stand up. As alluded to in previous posts, your chair will disappear. _________________ Ellis Miller

Thanx, Ellis, but it doesn't sputter, it simply stops.
I'll be talking to my friend again at lunch. |
