For the people in and around the Houston area that want to hear some good traditional country music , tune into 97.1 on your radio dial . The name of the station is "Country Legends" and their format consists mostly of the artists and songs we have enjoyed listening to in years past .

I expect that most of the forum members have found , or been told about, this station already but I thought I would pass the info on anyway just in case . I live about 80 miles North of Houston and can pick up the station signal loud and clear . Good stuff being played !!!!!Tune in and check it out !

The station is a welcomed alternative for sure ! That said , they play a little too much 70's and 80's crossover (Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Rogers etc.) for my taste . I wish they played more of the harder stuff.
