Today, the word ****BYPASSED**** came on my Peavey Pro Fex II. What caused this and how can I get it working again? Razz

Keith, it sounds like the "BYPASS" button may have been pushed or you may need a footswith to turn off the bypass function. It's been awhile since I've owned one but this seems to be the practical solution. Very Happy

Keith, If you can't get it out of the bypass state you will probably have to do a "factory reset". However, make sure you have all your programs on a cache card or know someone that has a cache card with the programs so you can reload them. The reset clears out (erases) the user memory programs.

Like Jack said!

Also check the battery for leakage, if it is still there. If you continue to get that error on occasion I would suspect one of the 4 audio RAMS is bad.

I have 100's of those chips in stock, as it the same as the user memory chip that I replace with the battery-less memory chip.

We are leaving for Oregon tomorrow. Will be back Aug 22. If it needs help, send it on down Keith and I will fix it up for you!
