Here's a guitar that was on the forum about a month ago. I swore I would grab the next pre Royal Precision that came up since they are so hard to find and getting harder. It just came at the wrong time financially. However after talking with Herby Wallace on the phone about the guitar I pulled the plug and tried to find a way to keep it as you don't see them very much anymore.
AND IT IS A TONE MACHINE MAKE NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, Plays just like you expect a Mullen to play and stays in tune like a Rock.
As said before money is an issue right now with paying the dentist bill so this is the one I didn't want to sell but here she goes, along with some other stuff, like JBL cab's and speakers, RV3 that will be on the other section.
It was made in August of 95 just before the switch. Herby let me in on some neat stuff about this changer that makes the high end a litter sweeter, that was used on the HWP models.
Anyway here we go this will be the last guitar to go I HOPE.
Most pickers refer to this guitar as an HWP although it doesn't have the polished package and it's not a D10.
3 and 5 Mullen SD10 Double clean(non rp model)

Well guys, my buyer was leaving for vacation and said he would have his son in law call me to pick it up.
I waited but haven't heard.
I know I told a couple of you that it was sold, but enough time has gone by.
I'll lower the price to 1875.00 plus shipping
These are the guitars that players in the know are after and will end up becoming collector items, as it is basically the same thing as HWP, except for a few cosmetics.
You can see from the pedals just how much use this guitar has had which is not much.
Someone ask about the changer. When I talked to Herby I saw what look like dark fingers which I thought may have been a Royal Presicion which is not the tone machine are built as well.
Herby let me know that was actually anodized and not a Royal P changer. In fact he said he had several of those on the HWP and said he liked it better as it made the high end sweeter and not brittle Which it does. It's not the graphit stuff used on the RP's.
With all due respect to that model. |
