Good luck in your search. The last single one I knew got married this past Sunday. She's also a forum member.
Congrats to Donna Hammitt Blanton.
Keep looking.

Mike's wife is keen as a bee's ass ! He is grossly over married. She deserves better!!!
Excelent cook, pretty, no fat bulges, kind to all of his warped friends and very tolerant. I thought it was his daughter for years. Her name is Karen, her phone number is BR 549 in case you want to offer her a better deal.
MIKE....shame shame shame

OK! That's some funny stuff. No intent to degrade the levity of this thread, but I have a serious one to report.

My wife plays nice piano and reads music very well. One day a couple of years ago when I was doodlin' around on steel she said that one of her secret desires was to be able to play "Steel Guitar Rag" on steel guitar. Without her knowledge I ordered an inexpensive resinator guitar and a Stevens bar from Musician's Friend and had it shipped to my office. I hid it in the trunk of my car until Christmas and sneaked it in under the tree Christmas morning. She was truly and totally surprised when she opened the box.

She practiced diligently; she hasn't quite reached the Joaquin level, but does a good job on the SGR and is well into "San Antonio Rose." All I have to teach her now is the proper way to carry my Twin Reverb.

So, I honestly have a steel-playing wife.

Sorry, Michael, but she is not available.

Roy,
Sounds like you got the Resonator Guitar you wanted from M/F.
I ordered one back in September and finally gave up this past Monday after they sent the wrong one twice and when they did ship the right one it was damaged.
Since they moved their central warehouse to Kansas City I've had nothing but troble with used sent for new and the story goes on. I'm done doing business with them until they get their act together out there. Now I'll just use my Super Bro II.

be careful what you wish for....

there can be bitter arguements over many things in such a relationship;

which steel to buy for the family room? She wants a modern GFI, you want an Emmons P/P!

She wants 8&7, you want 8&5
how about bars, volume pedal, strings, etc...

many of these marriages end in bitter divorce.
forget marriage counseling...they'll tell you both to compromise on a U12

and in the end, after the lawyers collect their fees, you'll end up in a trailer with a Maverick.....

I hear you on that Bitter Divorce thing, Howard. Thats what I am going through right now.

I thought the divorce would be a piece of cake if I bought two of everything, LOL. Oh well.

I'd be happy to trade this wife for a steel!! Or maybe just a 6 pack, LOL!!!

Dear Mr. Holland:

A romantic interest would take time away from your Pedalsteel.org project.

Therefore, I'm sorry to report, I will not pass along your request to all the hot steel-pickin babes I know.

Could you perhaps find a Web-Mistress?
