Under 8K doesn't sound bad at all. But it only a 6 str., so I won't be rushing out to pick it up today. |

The Gruhn guitar is an 18, and may be a pretty good deal at that price. I paid a good bit more than that for a 1935 0-18KH last year...I don't think I overpaid, but I was on the high end of what I think they're worth...but it is a great-sounding guitar.
The guitar referenced by the OP is a 28, and I believe considerably more rare. Worth over 7.5k? I dunno about that, but definitely worth more than an 0-18KH. IMO. _________________ Lee Hiers, AA4GA

If you want an old Martin Hawaiian, you really can't go wrong with this one:
It's a 1921 0-21H. Sure, it's spruce and rosewood instead of koa, but it has 7 strings from the factory. Only $7,500 at www.guitarandbanjo.com . |

In 30 years of looking at guitars I've never seen any 7-string strung in that manner. It may well have been done that way in Nazareth but it makes me say, hmmmmmm. |
