Audacity will let you make another CD with pitch and/or tempo changed independently of each other. Most Karaoke players will let you play a CD while raising the key "up" or "down" a given number of half steps.

Check out Marantz. In their "professional" line I know in the past they have offered cd players with pitch control, a remote and A-B repeat. They were expensive and rack mountable, but they had the features you're looking for.

They also have a "consumer" line which may offer similar features at a lower price.

Gary, I once had a CD/DVD player with a 'Key+' and 'Key-' function on the remote. Worked perfectly until it packed up after some time. With a bit of luck you'll find one if you're prepared to walk from supplier to supplier and see what they've got on their shelves. Unfortunately very few players have the feature.

Tascam makes a unit called the CD-GT2 for about $150.00. You can slow down and stay in the same key, tune the pitch up and down etc. I believe there is foot switch available for remote operation.
