Just in from the "Shameless Self-Promotion" Dept....
The band I pick with, The Kevin Fowler Band, is gonna be on TV!
If ya'll have the cable movie channel, "Starz", tomorrow night at 7:00 PM (CST), a movie called "Lone Star State of Mind" will be airing. Here's the way it's described at the "Starz" website: "A Texas mechanic tries to save a dimwitted relative from gangsters." Adult situations; Language (PG-13) The cast includes Joshua Jackson, James King and ...Ta' Da!...The Kevin Fowler Band!  Yep! we were filmed for a couple of scenes involving a Texas dancehall. It was filmed at the Club 21 in Uhland, Texas in February 2001. From what I heard our songs "Beer, Bait & Ammo" and "Speak of the Devil" are used in those scenes.
The movie aired last Thursday night and airs tomorrow night, December 19th at 7:00PM (CST) and December 24th at 9:00 AM & 9:00 PM (CST).
Also, for those of you in Texas, Dodge Trucks has been airing a commercial since the beginning of November featuring the Kevin Fowler Band playing our song "100% Texan"!
