Hello all,
I have an Emmons S-10 and have been playing now for about 6 months and making fine progress on the top of the fretboard, but now I would like to jump underneath the hood and try to set it up. As I live in Australia there just aren't any push/pull mechanics and anyone I have spoken to has said that you just have to learn how to do it yourself. Now, I have done a little bit of tinkering underneath to understand the mechanics of it all, but I want to take it all apart and give it a good clean, re-spring the springs and really get it spot on.
I was wondering if there was some instructional material on how to work on, disassemble and reassemble an Emmons push/pul.
Now I have purchased the "methodology and practice" DVD and booklet and that was a volume of amazing information but professional cameramen they are not and sometimes what they are working on doesn't make it onto the screen.
Just wondering if there is something else out there that could help me out. I don't want to end up with spare bits and pieces.
Thank You

Here's one place you can look:

http://www.melmusic.com/laceyj/guide.html

also look at the Carter website, as I believe that they have some info on P/P guitars.
