Yeah, what is it about tubas and Christmas?

I checked out this Jim Self dude and he owns like 173 tubas and tuba-esque variants. I will never again feel remorse for owning more than one steel guitar.

A warning from the Detroit Tuba Christmas site:
Quote:
This is not "Trombone Christmas." Please, tubas and baritones only. You guys already have high recognition and visibility!

This Miraphone 191 is obviously a bargain, listing at a mere $10,000 - but does it have "that" sound?...

My sousaphone was thrilled to be the 3rd "R" in "MERRYTUBACHRISTMAS" but "pedalsteelguitarchristmas" would be better next year so I can skip standing in one spot for an hour and a half with something heavy digging in to my shoulder.

Mine used to hang off the living room ceiling as a chandelier with a frosted globe in the bell.
