I was born in 1955. Last year I recorded "Would You Take Me Back Again" and "No Forgiveness" and a short version of "Old Indians Never Die" all in retro steel style. Noone even had a clue as to what these songs were or who the Shorts were so I gave up all hope of ever seeing their name in print again. I started out playing their ET lead parts on a Sears and Roebuck guitar while everyone else was grooving on Jan and Dean.

I'll look into my vault (translated: Zune player) and see if I saved a copy of El Rancho Grande.

Well Greg, here's hopin' you find it.

Some of these olde tunes that many no longer care about, contain pure gold for some of us that cherrish the olde, early day stuff.

It's kinda like sending your old gold rings and necklesses in to that TV advertised outfit that will send you CASH for your old gold.

I can't make that kind of offer, but I can assure you it will get a play on the JBFC site.
