That's Hank Garland. And Big E played the steel on the session for this album " Sweethearts Or Strangers" ( just no steel on this particular song )

Thanks. I was itching to find out who the guitarist was. I'm not as familiar with guitarists as I am steel players. I'd heard of Hank Garland, but hadn't listened to him really. I know he was known for being fluent in jazz. The playing on this tune isn't really JAZZ-based, but it does SWING, that's for sure.

acquired the name Hank "Sugarfoot" Garland from
then on.
