I found the original post earlier but I'm kind of rushed.

Went down and got one of these puppies today to celebrate moving UP in things.

It's Great from what I'm seeing so far.

Especially for 6 string.

The Drum tracks are REALLY good, and I haven't checked if the stereo input comes out in stereo for a mp3 player. MUCH better than you'd think.

Also it's got compression.

Also I guess I can use my Pod with it and my 1st Micro Cube around the campfire this weekend.

It's about twice as loud as the Micro I though the batteries probably don't last as long. Oh well, they're cheap.

Anyhow, wondering if anybody has had one for a while and still liked it.

Anybody thinking of a portable battery amp shold give this one a spin.

Went with a friend Friday morning and got one, and the variety and speeds of the drum trax are very good, better than expected.

The low end still isn't where I'd love it, but much better than the original MC.

But there is a punch to the amps sound when the picks attack the strings that I havn't worked past yet. I had the EQ and tone dimed, my steel's tone at 0, where I like it, and the vol. at half way. The 'punch' is quite annoying, even tho it's subtle, and I didn't hear it when my friend played, and he has THE touch, but he did.

I keep forgetting to try the compression...

For me, the jury is still out. I'm hoping to get it down to Waikiki soon and see how it handles outside against beach traffic.

Keep us up on your RX thots, Eric, as you get her broke in!

Well I'm using it more for Tele than anything. I've got a bunch of amps down by my steel in the basement.

I really like it so far from playing it outside this evening. The drums kind of cancel out the instrument but it's fine for what I'm using it for.

I can see using it for a rehearsal amp for steel a lot better than the Micro Cube. Lots of volume for what it is. About twice the MIcro IMHO.

I like the compression for tele as I have to have a separate one for the Micro.

I'll have to try it with my Micro BR Recorder and headphones if I get a chance.
