I have a BMI with teh standard case, btu the rubber handle is already starting to come apart. Any advice for replacing the oem handle with a better quality more comfortable handle?

I got the handle on the case for my Fingertip replaced at a luggage shop. Very nice leather handle with springsteel inside. Very strong. They only charged me $25! The same handle from different suppliers on the internet was $25, without the shipping. And I'd have had to install it myself. I went to Cleveland Luggage Supply. They sell every kind of luggage imaginable, but they also do repairs.

Pretty much like this one. L 1847. You want one that only has a seam on top.

I recently built a two piece case set for my Franklin. HERE is what I used for the handles.

Try again. Again, very strong and very comfortable. Jack, although those handles are the ultimate in strength and durability, I've found them to be very uncomfortable. I have to wear gloves when I lift anything with those handles. They're just too small around. They dig into my hands cuz they just don't spread the weight over a large enough area. I've got them on a few pieces of gear.
The leather handle is nice and soft, but hides an interior of spring steel. The handle loops that go around the hoops fastened to the case are steel. They also came in a couple other colors of leather.
