Folks, I would really appreciate your thoughts on the pedal spacing.
My Pro 1 distance between pedals is 1 3/4", my LDG is 2"
I find the LDG frustrating at this point although I have not owned it long with that extra 1/4" spacing.
Does anyone feel the same way and have you changed your pedals to a smaller spacing? or is this something more common in a better steel and I should get used to it?
Thanks so much for your time and comments!

I think I found part of the problem, the B pedal goes lower than the A pedal so if I'm right I would adjust the set screw so the travel is the same?
By lower I mean more travel. |

Pete, I think you may be on to something but seriously you should stop talking to yourself, anyway I'll get back to you after we see what others think.

Pete, my 73 LDG has a span of 2-5/8 " center to center between A and B pedal. _________________ Several custom steels. NV-112 Boss DD-7 |

Pete,
Don't change the pedal travel adjustment! That will change the string pull length, and it won't come up to pitch..... resulting in a bunch of tuning tail chasing. Set the pedal height by loosening or tightening the connector on the pedal rod where it attaches to the pedal.... you usually want the pedals to bottom out at the same place, I like mine about an inch from the floor when the pedals are down. |

You need some of them thar old clown shoes! The big ones that can pick up a cigarette butt with the toe. And Mike's right.
On my Fingertip, the E9th pedals are 2" apart, but the C6th pedals are 2 7/8" apart! Makes sense to me! |

Pete try to find you some of the older floor pedals that the older buds had on them . The pedals are much larger and i really like them better than the smaller pedals . I think it also makes the travel shorter in my opinion . Much better feel also . I bought a L.D.G. that had the small pedals and changed them to the bigger ones . Remember we all have opinions ! |
