Anyone who love honkin tonkin music done right needs at least pick up a CD and if your lucky enough catch them every time you can. Congrad's on the new cd. God Bless and will see you soon.

Here is THE perfect opportunity to support REAL country music. Ricky and Miss Leslie have dedicated their lives to the playing and writing and promoting REAL country music. And this project is by far the finest effort so far--just simply STELLAR!!

And yes, that's right, Miss Leslie WROTE every song on this new album, and Ricky did the steel on it, as well as PRODUCED this cd project. There are 13 songs on this new cd, and everyone of them is my favorite(yes I was priveledged to aquire a pre-release cd as a gift from Ricky and Leslie). One word describes Leslie's vocals on this cd---HONEST. So come out to Pearls Friday night and experience the real deal. Cool

If you want a real blast from the past when country music was country music, this CD is a must for you. Miss Leslie on fiddle and Ricky on steel is always awesome. Of course Miss Leslie's vocals speak for themselves. One of the greatest voices ever. My best to Miss Leslie and Ricky on this new CD release. Jody.

Ricky,

Glad to see such great reviews. It says you're playing a "Sublime steel guitar". I've never heard of them, but they must be fantastic to get you to leave the Sho-Bud at home. LOL Laughing

I love it, terrific sound. Miss Leslie is so good, the steel sounds wonderful as expected, and there is some six string pickin' in a style that I haven't heard in too long. All in all a great CD.

Ricky, even though I liked ALL the song samples on the CD, I believe you and the Guitar player's back up and Breaks on "Between The Whisky And The Wine" was Extremely Tasteful and very well done. Great Tone and execution!

Miss Leslie's writing and singing on this Country Cd is as good as any I have ever heard. I hear some Crystal Gayle and Allison Moorer influence in her voice, who happen to be among my favorites too.

Great job to you and Miss Leslie. Hope you sell a Million!

Well, it was WAY beyond my expectations at Pearls last night. Miss Leslie re-defined TOPSHELF PERFORMANCE!! And Ricky and the band were so tight they squeeked when they picked. Ricky massaged some of the finest melody out of the LDG that you could imagine!!

For those who couldn't make it, all hope is NOT lost yet, you can still aquire the "Between the Whiskey and the Wine" cd, your own personal copy of this real artisey work of REAL COUNTRY!! Cool Go to the website.

The world will hear a lot more from Miss Leslie and Ricky. We have been watching this fantastic duo coming from the "seeds of ideas", to the beginning of a wonderful "full blossoming" show over the last couple of years. I'm saying the beginnings, because they are just realising some real honest momentum---with a whole career ahead of them. We have not heard the last, by a long shot, from Miss Leslie and Ricky Davis. Fasten your seat belts. Cool
