HI FOLKS;ARE CLUB MEETING FOR JUNE WILL BE ON JUNE-8 THIS MONTH AND WILL BE HELD AT THE 2020 MOOSE LODGE IN ORANGE PARK FLA AS IT WAS IN MAY,WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MEETING AND MEETING NEW FOLKS AS WELL AS NEW STEEL PLAYERS,HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.BILL LAWSON

Bill and all, the last jam was more than good, great playing and fun time with friends.Jack conyer is comming bACK, kEN IF NOT OUT OF TOWN IS COMMING, he is a great lead guitar player and can relieve Lonnie some.I will call Larr Bullock a Very good emmons player, His PP is 35 uears old and looks new.We need ole Clyde Bloodworth he plays the socks off the c6, and Mabe Barney Miller, of Miller guitars.
This one should surrpass the other.

Bill,
I am planning on being at the next jam in June if all goes well at work. look forward to seeing (and hearing) all you great steel players!! I played in Jacksonville this past Friday and Saturday night and had a real good time. Talk to you soon.

Spencer, the mtg begins at 2PM Sunday, 6/8/08. preliminary housekeeping, discussion about improving player techniques, style, licks, etc. Performances begin around 2:45 / 3:00. til 8:00 PM. Future mtgs will be the third Sun of each month, 2PM til 8PM. Hope you can make it. Lonnie Portwood

The meeting went well, the air conditioner broke down, same thing in Quitman friday nite, many left at 8:30 just to hot for ole folks.
I have pictures of the Jax Jam if requested will post on my site and put a link here.
