Terry,

About the most steel I've seen would be at the Country Tonight http://www.countrytonitetheater.com/ and Smith Family http://www.smithfamilytheater.com/ theaters.

I live in the county but haven't been to the shows in about a year so things may have changed.

The Smoky Mountain Jubillee is only having a limited weekend schedule right now due to the high gas prices. We were just up there and didn't get to see the show. The Smith Family Theatre Show does have a Steel Player. He uses a rosewood Emmons SKH LeGrande.

Terry, I believe that Stoney Stonechiper is still playing Steel and Dobro with the "Family Band" at the Outdoor Theater there inside Dollywood...great player on both instruments....nice guy too...I'm sure he will be glad for you to say hello if you can come by for the show.

Roger, you are correct.

You can go to the Dollywood site to see the schedule for Kin Folks Band.

Roger, you are right for sure! Stoney is still playin' steel with the Kinfolks Show at my favorite themepark, Dollywood. I saw him last Saturday. Stoney is actually the guy who got me started on steel.
