Got my first royalty check for two songs I wrote,[Whippoorwill Night and Memories of Dixie]The excellent bluegrass band EAST WIND included the two on their lastest CD,Named MEMORIES OF DIXIE.Had my eye on a Hummer, but after filling up my caravan to drive to the dealer did'nt have anything left, but the satisfaction of having my songs recorded by a GREAT band was ok.DYKBC.

Thanks guys,I appreciate that,I LOVE money, but I love the MUSIC more,Just having a very good band to like my writing enough to put two of my songs on their CD and naming the CD after one of them was rewarding enough.DYKBC.

Congrats Bama, I remember when I got my first check $37.85.
I know it don't sound like much but it made me a professional writer with BMI for life and thats worth a lot..
