BOB.Has anybody produced a book on the history of the steel and its builders.? Or should i just buy my daughter some CD,S on some of the greatest players. Suggestions anybody. Keith White .UK

Andy Volk published an extensive work on Lap Steel Guitar; about 300 pages with lots of photos. Published in 2003. Andy is a member of the Forum.

Andy's book is top shelf ,a must , the history section of Winnie Winston & Bill Kieths "bible" has some great facts also. Bill Cool
