Together with Neil Flanz I went to see Sunny Sweeney with her band at the Saxon Pub in Austin.
We both enjoyed the show, although sadly enough there weren't that many people.
Jeff Queens played pedal en lap steel and i loved his playing and style.
Very, very promising for the next generation, sure we'll hear more from him. |

Geoff Queen is a great player and a gen-yoo-wine nice guy! He plays great guitar as well. I had the pleasure of working some dates with Sunny when Geoff was on guitar... _________________ Tommy Detamore

It was great meeting you Olaf, thanks for coming out to see us and for the kind words. Mr. Detamore, those gigs we did were a blast, although I doubt I played much since I was trying to figure out what you were doing! Tommy B, that sounds like a good time at Ernest Tubbs, don't go tuning your guitar or anything, I don't want Sunny to get used to it. |
