John Hughey did a great "rake" type lick on the intro of Conway Twitty's Games Daddies Play. Does anyone know the lick and could you tab it?

Doug, I believe John played this lick at the 17th fret starting on the 6th string with B pedal down, starting on the 6th string you do a backward rake from 6th string thru the 9th string and after you have raked the 9th string lower it to a C#, Someone else may know different but this is what I hear....Hope this helps.

Actually, at the 17th fret, lowering the 9th string one half-step would give you an F# note, making this a raked D6 chord. Sounds like a cool way to make the 6th chord. I'll have to give this song another listen, and hear John Hughey play it. Smile

Keep on pickin!
