Sure you can, it was for "copywrite infringement"...on you tube, 3 strikes, and your gone. I had 457 subs..over 200 songs up.
the first strike was for a Garth brooks song, the 2nd a Van Morrison song, and the 3rd, a funny "cat cartoon I posted..lol..

FYI, I had recorded a local band with steel guitar and put it on youtube. The band did a Van Morrison number. I got a strike on that one from Youtube. I think Youtube sometimes can shutdown your site without warning and leave you clueless. Seems the Van Morrison folks are very very aggressive.

I believe there was an artist who did some songs from his own CDs and and had his site closed down. I am assuming a musican can't do music from their own CD for which they paid the license fee on a CD because that license does not cover putting the performance on Youtube, etc.
