Not as sensitive as you might think (the old Anapegs had the magnets between the strings, instead of directly underneath). Finer strings have less output, so you may improve the situation by going to a heavier guage string, if possible. It could also be a bad string, or a weak magnet in the pickup, or a sympathetic vibration or resonance in the guitar helping to "cancel out" that note. (Does the situation improve if you tune that string up or down?) Also, try changing the pickup height, as that sometimes will make a difference. |
