Didn't I read some time back of a fella remanufacturing ZB's? Are they still being made and by whom?

Kevin, I am so glad that you have updated the roller nuts. That was one major problem of the ZB's and I played, sold and repaired them for many years. I finally solved the roller nut problem with ball bearings.
They always had a great sound, and I hope you still have it in the new ones.

Lonnie, I am making new ZB's with modern bellcrank mechanics under the name Retro Steel Guitars. I am only producing 3-4 per year. They are strictly a custom build.

How long is the list at this point? How does one get on this list for one of the replica ZB's?

Lonnie, call me for the particulars. I have about a 6-7 month wait right now. These are custom built to order. One at a time. 716-691-6527, or 716-691-7505.

Any other ZB replica owners out there with a picture of your guitar? I'd like to hear about the guitar and its playability. It's a very beautiful looking steel. The ZB look is attractive.
