Basil-I think you are looking for the proverbial "needle in a haystack" From what I gather not more that a dozen of these were made-and the few that remain have been snapped up by Fender collectors as more of a curio than a utility instrument

Hi Basilh & Paul:

My wife has been trying to get me to sell my Fender PS-210 from the day it arrived from an eBay seller at the end of 1999. This guitar has some serious issues and slowly, I'm trying to deal with them.....one at a time.

Back in early 2000, I tried locating all 15 of the PS-210 guitars and I believe I accounted for around half of them...with players and two dealers.

As far as I know, the instrument may be for sale at the two dealers:

1. Billy Cooper's Music, Inc.
20504 Constitution Highway
Orange, Virginia 22960
(540) 854-5940
http://www.billycoopersmusic.com/

2. Blackie Taylor Music
5950 Mission Boulevard
Riverside, CA 92509
(909) 686-4010
http://www.blackie.qpg.com/

I would suggest contacting these dealers and inquiring if their PS-210 is for sale.

Good luck and please post your findings to the Steel Guitar Forum under this subject thread.

The one at Blackie Taylor's may be a Prototype as it does not have the "finished-looking" end plate covers. Blackie had it set up with a fretted fretboard on the near neck so that neck may be played Spanish guitar-style, sort of. The original neck is safely preserved under the slab of ebony (if I recall correctly).
