I saw a couple of these guitars at ISGC, and I must admit, I was really impressed. First, the legs addition to the basic lap steel is a major improvement in the product. Next, adding the string configuration option is great.

For me, the beautiful tone wood option is the killer change. I was staring at one mahogany/maple (I think) S8 on legs while talking at length with Tony Williams (owner of Sierra), and said "that thing just LOOKS like it sounds good. I don't have to hear it."

Well, I didn't buy it... it was like WAY over a grand and I'm full up on lap steels anyway, but for someone looking for a lap steel Lexus, that one is the baby!

Beautiful. Nice job.

I see that the pots have been moved closer together, and that the jack has been moved a bit. Looks like the chrome plate with the pickup, pots and jack might be shaped slightly differently too. Was all that to accomodate a leg socket near the cavity, or just to make it easier to adjust the pots?

Any comments on the "Hot Wright" pickup's sound, maybe compared to the Geo L?

And may you sell many, many of these good guitars.
