Very cool. While Randy Beavers has been busy making his E9 sound like a C6, Gary Lee has been busy doing just the opposite! Y'know, somebody ought to invent a 'universal' tuning so you can play anything on just one neck... |

Is that a trick steel or what? I've never heard a C6 sound so E9ish.
Nice work. |

IMO, Gary (teacher Gimble) is one of the best around. I believe that I read in the Post, long ago, that most of Buddy Charlton's students go on to play professionally. This, IMO, is the result of "practice, practice and more practice", and being a heck of a nice guy. |

They don't come any friendlier than Gary Lee.
He has all the attributes to make a super nice person and a great steel player.
Keep the nice tunes coming, Gary.

Thanks for the compliment guys, mucho appreciated. BTW, Larry has visited me for some steel guidance, so, I guess that may have earned me the title of teacher. However, Larry seems fit to associate me with a higher level of teaching excellence of which I don't quality. |
