Hi Guys and Gals, I'm a newbi here also. I have a Sho Bud pedal that has been sitting around for a while and wasn't strung when I got it. I tried to no avail to get it strung and working. No Luck. I took it to a shop for repairs and it worked for about an hour and then the pot came loose and fell down inside. I then tried to do it and the same thing happened again, and again and so on. any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks |

Paul, go to www.scottysmusic.com and click on misc info. There is a drawing of a goodrich pedal that will show you how to string it up.( Same principal as a shobud pedal) Also, do a search here on the forum. Not too long ago, somebody posted a photo of a shobud pedal. |

Sounds like you're not tightening the nut enough that holds the pot in place. |
