Hello;
I am looking for an early Emmons LeGrande -
the one with the SKH short key head.It needs
to have the changer that has the ribs on the rear
.
If you are not sure i can send you a picture of one.
Made in the early '80's..
I prefer a SD-10 & black is my favorite color Smile
I will consider other colors also.
Let me know if you have one for sale & all the
particulars ie: condition; color; number of pedals & knees; setup on guitar..
you can reply here, or to my private message here on the forum or you may email me..
Thanks for reading .. Ron

Tommy Young had a D-10 rosewood for sale st the gospel steel show in Nashville this past weekend.
Those SKH Legrande sure do sound good. Frank Estes used to have one and I really liked it.

There was a short key head in the vendor room at the Gospel Steel Show in Nashville this week-end.

It was near Tommy Young's table. It was rose wood mica. Tommy will know who owned it and the details. I don't remember if it was a D-10 or SD-10. (there were several guitars in that area and they were constantly being moved around making it hard to remember.)

His number is 662 328 5742

Update to Nick & Marvin:
The guitar that Tommy Young had there that you were talking about i did contact Tommy about.He told me he was working on a deal on that & he would let me know.He emailed me a short while ago to tell me the guitar is gone now.Thanks to both of you for letting me know about that one..

I know if i was not looking for one there would be 1 or 2 for sale right here on the Steel Forum Rolling Eyes
Does anyone else have any leads on one?
Thanks for reading .. Ron

Hello;
I am gonna continue to look for an SD-10 model as that is what i prefer.I have come across a couple of D10's but did pass as i still want a SD-10 ..
Unless of course someone knows of a smokin' deal on a D10.
Let me know if you have a SKH Emmons not being used
or if you want something different.
I will buy outright or can trade some other music gear for part or full trade - whatever you prefer.
Thanks Ron
