It's early but I'm late. This was my first year in attendance . I have over 80 photo's and I did record the entire time I was in the hall. Here are 3 photo's .I need to spend some time with all I came home with and will post my photo's and maybe some audio hopefully by the weekend. i am going to contact Scotty and get permission to place an entire set on my Internet radio site at LIVE365.com this weekend. here are a few quick photo's of Buddy, Doug and Lloyd. ( first pass low resolution)

By the way I touched Buddy's guitar in the hopes that some of the magic would rub off, but after a few practice sessions this week, it hasn't rubbed off yet ![This message was edited by Tony Prior on 05 September 2002 at 01:21 PM.] |

By gum..yes it is Lloyd ! Corrections duly applied ! Are you going to the Gastonia store to jam ? If so I will probably join you. I did trade Joe for the black Carter finally. Maybe we'll see you this weekend..

Thanks Tony, I could'nt help notice that Buddy's Le Grande has black knees and front legs, do you think it's a custom job or perhaps that new carbon Fibre material? |

Billy, I'm afraid you will ahve to ask Buddy. I looked over his guitar ( it was sitting right outside his booth the whole weekend) and for the most part, at least to me it looked like a regular Legrande III but then again this was "Buddy's" guitar and for some odd reason I'm thinking it has some one of a kind improvements. By the way I touched it few times in the hopes that some of the magic may just rub off !

Billy;
The knees and legs are stock. The legs just appear to be black. Stock Emmons Guitar lever handles are black.
Tony - I captured the picture... Got many, but might be able to find another spot for it.

Admittedly the legs look black in the picture, but I didn't notice that in person. I think they're chrome. |

When you see shiny chrome in a photo, what you are actually seeing is the reflection of white off the chrome. If there is nothing white or no direct light reflecting off the chrome, it will look black. If you study photos of chrome items that look very shiny, you will be able to see the reflectors or lights that the photographer has placed near them, to get the shine. |

Tony,
sorry I missed ya! I was there friday through Sunday. Had a great time with all my friends, bought a bag full of new picks, etc. After a day or two all the badges start to look the same! You would have found me hangin' with Tommy White, Mike Cass, Gregg Galbreath, Loren Nelson, and Ernie Renn (as well as many others) over by Buddy's booth Saturday night. We had a ball!
