If you'll check this sellers feedback back you'll see that he fell for the same hype on April 12 when he bought this guitar on ebay. The guitar was Made in USA and is currently sold under the Joe Morrell label without Roy Wiggins name on it. I had a Little Roy in natural maple and it had potential. This guitar is worth about $350 as is IMO.

Yep, Morrell's web site shows them at $269.95 plus Shipping. But as I said, they're worth about $350. Very Happy

Here's the content of the email I sent to the seller:

If you want to have a successful relationship with eBay, you should be honest in your advertising. This guitar goes for $265 brand new on the Internet. I don't believe you are fooling anybody by claiming that LRW actually "collected" this guitar. I notice that you've had no bids on it. That should give you a clue that eBay bidders are more intelligent than your ad allows.

I have 2 of the Morrell 8 string guitars and I like them. I use them for in home playing only. They are made in Tenn. USA. I don't think Roy Wiggins ever played one on tours but he did endorse them. These are inexpensive guitars, and if you find a better 8 string steel guitar for the lower price than you can get a Morrell for, please let me know and I will buy 2 more. I also have one of the cheap 6 string SK lap steels and I like it, but my Emmons PP makes the others stand back and listen.
Can you believe he has a $450.00 bid?
James
