I'll be in San Antonio on thursday and friday 5/8 and 5/9. My wife Jessie's son is graduating basic training at Lackland AFB. Any steel on those two nights? Where should I go to hear some Texas Music?

On Friday night 5-9, I'll be at Cowboy's San Antonio, with the Fiddles, Steels and 18 wheels tour, featuring Aaron Watson and Jason Boland. I'll be on steel with Aaron, and Roger Ray plays steel for Jason. get more info here:

Also, I'm not sure who has the gig these days, but there is usually a steel player in the house band there as well, so you could hear 3 steel players in one night! |

Our band will be playing at Leon Springs Dancehall on 05/09. A little more family orientd than Cowboys but either is fine. You can check for directions on our website www.billymata.com There are also some of our clips on the site.
