Hello everyone . Writing for Mr. Bill Stafford. Announcement, The Deep South Steel Guitar & Musicians Club will have another Great show on JUNE 7, 2008 at the St. Martin Community center in Ocean Springs Ms. from 12:00 Noon till !0:00 pm. The community center is located on Lemoine blvd. at exit 50 east of gulfport off I-10. at the ocean springs exit turn south go to the 2cd Redlight take a right on Lemoine. The community center approx: 3.2 miles on right.

I am also planning on being there too. I did this show last year and it was great. I will be counting on Ben and Hal to pull me through one more time. If you haven't been to this show, be sure to come as my buddy, Bill Stafford knows how to put on a first class show.

Bill's computer still on the Blink. Bill informed me that Mr. Herby Wallace has been confirmed for the June 7th DSSG show in Ocean Springs Mississippi. Also we or waiting for the conformation of Mr Joe Wright to be with us as well. Last Year Mr Wallace and Mr Ed Clark had everyone in tears with the beautiful song ' Ten Thousand Years, hope that will be done again. Bill just got back from a Wake in Beaumont Ms. Mr Ed clark lost his youngest son this week. Please keep ED and Pearl in your Prayers. Good to see all the responses coming in for the june 7th show. Also I talked to Barney and Mary Miller last week, Barney will be showing one of his latest upgrades of the steel guitar. So glad you and Mary or coming Barney.

A bump for the good guys,
I sure wish Laurie and I could be there to hear so many of our favorite steelers and visit with so many old friends. Those long drives just don't suit our arthritic old carcases any more. We are just now getting rested up from that last great show in Gulfport.
Think of us when you guys are having so much fun.

It usually makes the day for me to see you and Mitzi. Ya'll just happens to be, 2 of my most'est favorite peoples.
I'll try to have ya'll some fresh dug, "NEW TATERS" and snap beans. And maybe some of them big ole, purty, home grown maters, what hangs off'in all four sides of a slice of bread.
You know like, to make one of them good-un mater samiches.
Ya'll be careful drivin and we are really looking forward to a great time with you, and all the other fantastic folks there at the show.
