I am excited to let everyone know that I am now a dealer for BMI Steel Guitars. I have held very close feeling for BMI since I got my first one from Zane Beck in about 1979. Zane was one of the most innovative designer and builders of the pedal steel guitar and was a huge influence on the development of the great guitars many builders are producing today. BMI is built in Arkansas about 50 miles from me and I look forward to providing sales and service of this line of guitars. I remain a very loyal dealer of the Emmons and Magnum guitars. Now I can offer three choices. I have a D10 BMI on the way that I look forward to playing at some upcoming shows. I played the Magnum at the Siloam Springs show yesterday and always enjoy playing that guitar. I will most likely be playing an Emmons at the Gospel Show in Nashville next weekend.

Congratualtions Jerry!

I have been playing BMI steel guitars 1981 and they have always served me well.

They are building me a new 12 string Keyless this summer and I still have my 14 stringer that Zane and Don built for me in 1984.

Welcome aboard to BMI and looking forward to hearing you on June 7th at our Annual Marshfield Steel Guitar Show!

GOD bless!

Thanks John and Terry, coming from you two guys, it means much to me. Terry, I don't know if I can have my new BMI in time for the Marshfield show but if possible I would love to play it there. If not then I will be content playing the Magnum or one of the Emmons guitars.

Jerry, congrats on your new dealership! Unfortunately I won't be buying any steels from you as my old BMI S-12 with 8 & 5 is still in such good shape I don't need a new one but I'll pass your name on to anyone I know who needs a new steel.

Are you going to be doing BMI service too? That'd be nice.......JH in Va.

Yes, I will do service work on BMI. I have had a lot of experience with them. Also, I am within a short driving distance to the BMI factory so I can provide parts and service very quickly.

Jack is right about Cowboy Eddie. I heard him for the first time and got acquainted with him at the Southern, IL Steel Guitar Show a couple weeks ago.

I can tell you that I studied Julian Tharpe's style like crazy for many years. He was a friend and sort of my mentor. Cowboy studied under him as well and I can tell you Cowboy's style was heavily influenced by Julian. I loved Cowboy's fresh approach to playing at the IL show.

My plans are to get Cowboy up here to my Marshfield Steel Show. He defintely should be playing at the big St. Louis Steel Show as well.

Jerry your one of my favorite people. Looking forward to hearing you play the new BMI.

GOD bless!

Congratulations Jerry. Zane Beck was a genius when it came to designing pedal steel guitars. I played one of his ZB's for years. See ya'll in Tulsa. Jody.

Hi Nick, yep, I was a Rains dealer. I played one for awhile and sold a few. It is a fine guitar also.
