Well Heather Myles and her great band are trackin' through Texas on a tour; and I'm a pickin' up the dates with her as she cruises through. Just played Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos last night....then onto Dallas at Lone Star Cafe Wed(21st)show starts at 9:00pm....then down to Houston at the Mucky Duck on Fri(23rd)...then to Waxahatchie at the Texas Theater down town on the Square(on sat 24th) show starts at 7:30ish and before the Morales sisters. So if your into true Honky Tonk...this girl is IT!!!....then Sunday at Borrowed money....looks like I'll be playing with Jake Hooker's Dad from 7 till 11:00pm......See ya'll out there somewhere.

WEll I can't think of a better "Club" group of guys to be in/with.....too cool.
Gary....I'm not riding with them at all....as me and my girl/friend are driving around to these gigs....yeee haaa....but are you saying I should stay outta the van when she's driving???"food for thought"???

Thanks guys for the nice wishes and it's fun....but the lowest volume I've ever played on stage....and I thought we were low volume in the Dale Watson Band....but this takes the cake for sure.....but also kinda cool......and I think I like it.....but of course if my amp ain't miked you ain't gunna hear me at all.....ah....ha....last night Terry Downs had to come sit 2 feet in front of me so he could hear the Blue Darlin'(which he liked)...but any further back than that...he couldn't....Wow that's LOW>.......

Ricky....too low? I thought you were playing with Bob Ryan??? That can't be right. Usually a sound check for him is "crank 'er till she squeals then back'er off."
