On Sept. 8 at the Del-Win Entertainment Center in St. Joseph MN, We will be hosting our second Classic Country Showcase of the year. We did our first one last Spring and it was a big success, so we're doin it again. The lineup will once again include The Rose Family (featuring Curt Olsen on steel), Roger Rainy and Country Connection (featuring Al Udeen on steel), Alex Parenteau and Silver Wings, Bluegrass group Sotagrass, and a Central MN favorite Art Essery (who now lives in Nashville and performs real country in that town too!! . Along with Leroy Glazier, The Flame Cafe's own Betty Lee, and a host of Mid-Minnesota's favorite Classic Country entertainers. Ourselves, Kevin Lange and The Mississippi Drifters, will be there of course hosting the event along with local radio personality Bob "Mr. Nashville" Weber. This event is being made possible through the help of WVAL Radio, our local (REAL)Classic Country radio station and our local music store, Al's Music. Try to make it up if you can. It is gonna be a great day of REAL, TRADITIONAL Country Music.

Hi Eddie, tell everyone at the show hello for me. I can't make it up there but I know you'll have a great show. I used to work at the Flame Cafe back in the 60's, so I know Al, Curt, Roger and Betty Lee. Say hello to my frien Alex Parenteau, he cut a couple of albums on my record label back in the seventies. I had the pleasure of backing Betty Lee up on several occassions.
