Hi All,

I heard it first by a Pedal steel player (forgot his name), through this forum on Youtube.
I was planning on doing what would have been a very primitive version on lap steel, then I said it's just impossible for me and would be a failed attempt.
I decided to record it last night on guitar.
The BT is a midi file on which I play my own arrangements with 2 guitar lines. I play the main line live.

(I think it sounds a little better on my website than on Youtube: "abelkhin").

I hope you like it.
I would love to hear a steel version of it on this forum. It would sound so clear and not muddy like my
recording.
If anyone needs the BT, I can remove my arrangements and my guitar harmony lines.

Blessings,
Abel

Abel, check out this version by Cindy Cashdollar and Bobby Koeffer. Both are playin Fender steel guitars and check out Bobby's unique bar style, no one holds the bar like him. http://youtube.com/watch?v=i1QIR4LhCTQ BTW, I like your guitar version, it's great.

Hi,

Andy,
Indeed Cindy Cashdollar and Bobby Koeffer' s performance is very good and with the 3rd steel player showing up on theleft, it made it like a steel party.
What a weird way of holding the bar. It doesn' t seem
to bother him a bit.

Dag,
Jeff Newman is another one of those really up there.
What a touch.
I need to know more about those big players. I know only a tiny fraction of them, but I'd like to know who have passed away because when I first saw "Curly Chalker" play on Youtube, I was so excited and even wanted to get in touch. Then I learned that he had passed away some time ago. A choking disappointment.

Glad you liked mthis file Andy.

Blessings,
Abel
