I have been working with Marv Pfluger and Jim Adams along with Gary Rittenberry to finally build a guitar that I have needed for several years. It was originally one of Jim Adams' maple-body resonators, but I couldn't find a way to play loud enough and not have the usual feedback issues. When I saw Marv's guitars I contacted him and he was kind enough to provide the reso-sound mod kit so I could work with Jim to fit it AND the HipShot assembly correctly to finally have a very versatile steel or (with the flip of a switch) "reso" guitar. To ensure as much stability as possible with the various tunings I asked Gary Rittenberry to pre-fab some roller assemblies to use in the nut and bridge positions. He built them to the customary steel-guitar spacing so I wouldn't have to contend with different spacings when I switch between "dobro" and pedal-steel on stage. With the HipShot assembly I have (3) tuneable positions available for each string. I used the guitar twice last weekend and it performed beyond my expectations. Many thanks to Marv Pfluger, Jim Adams, and Gary Rittenberry for helping me get this one done. Marty Broussard

Sorry for the delayed response. I will try to email them to you so you can post them. The only one that isn't as good as I'd like is the one showing the roller-nut on the bridge assembly. MB

No pics here, they may have ended up in the spam folder without me noticing. Try again and I'll be looking out for them..

I don't know where they are right now. But I had some pictures of a resonator guitar awhile back that you just had to flip over to have a second guitar. Looked interessting to me. But my first thought was that the sound quality would be pi$$ poor.
