I have recently changed jobs. After a year of working as the A&R rep for Javamusic.com I have moved on to a job that allows me to be of greater good to Independent artists worldwide.
I am now working as a musical director at Post Modern Edit, which is one of the worlds top Post Production Houses for Television and Film.
They have recently begun operations in Production for Television as well. As a result I am looking for music of all types and genres to place in the soundtracks of these Television shows.
The shows are new and have a primarily male demographic and will air 5 nights a week in the LA market starting in Oct. They will air in the 6:00 - 7:00 PM timeslot.
Being new they do not have much of a budget for music at the moment but if the national syndication the producers are shooting for comes through the budget will grow exponentially.
So anyone who is interested in licensing any of their music for soundtrack use in these shows please send your disk and contact info to
CMAP Music International
650 Tamarack Ave. #4211
Brea Ca. 92821
Attn: Bobby Bensley

I have a need for an immense amount of music for the one show alone, so if it is copyrighted to you and you would like some television credits for your resume send it on in.

I have received email responses from a few forum members and look forward to their submissions. This is an on going opportunity with other fims and shows being developed as I type so from here on out I have a large need for music to choose from so if interested in seeing your music become part of film and TV please submit.
Thanks,
Bobby Bensley

Ken, I can appreciate your diligence in this matter but I can assure you I am working with Post Modern on this project.
I work directly under company President Rick Warren and the specific show I am working on for them at this given moment is Poormans Bikini Beach Party.
Marla has never met me and is uninvolved in the Poorman project. They use an inhouse composer for their post production editing of Hollywood films the non theatrical viewing.
If you want to email me privately at bobbybensley@sbcglobal.net I will give you Rick's email address and you can confirm with him personally that I am not scaming you guys.
Thank you,
Bobby Bensley |

Bobby: It was not my intention to impune you, as you seem to realize. As you know, checking sources is only good business.
Thanks for the reply. As scheduling permits I will follow up with your interesting proposal.

Thanks Ken, I spoke with Rick on Friday and he will be expecting your email. I totally understand the business behind checking sources so I have no real problem with it and in the end your confirmation of it can only be a good thing.
To double confirm with the artists here about packages received. As I have not heard back after mailing confirmations out.
I have received and catologed the submissions of
Billy Woo
Trailer Park Rangers
Mike Perlowin

When submitting music please always include full contact info. As sure as God has a sense of humor the one submission with out contact info is always the first one a producer wants to license. Of course it is hard to negoiate licensing if I can not contact you.

Is this only instrumental music that you're interested in, or do you want vocal music too?

Bobby I am interested in Instrumental and or vocal. This particular show is looking for a lot of instrumental and some vocal. I will database all submissions though and submit them to any upcoming project that arises.
