Im posting this for a friend ,Blanton D-10 7/4, Jerry told me it's about a 1968, and comes with a 'snap in' Blanton volume pedal, the first one (the only one?) he ever made, he laughed himself silly when I showed him the volume pedal, he couldn't believe it's still with the guitar. I asked him why it's a 7/4, the guy he built the guitar for had to have a snap in pedal like a 60's emmons, he couldn't remember much about the guitar, other than that the guy had to have a volume pedal attached to it and that the case was ordered with 'extra' handles so 2 people could carry it coffin style, it's a little heavy, but if you're reading this, you already know that.

Tone to the bone, has splittable original pickups with clear pickup covers so you can see the winding, has the Blanton 'cigarette holder' behind the tuners, told me he used to steal them off of pinball machines back in the 60's. It's the emmons pedal setup, has the E Raise LNL and Lower RNL like the old sho-bud change, RNR raises the top string a full step to unison with the 3rd string, LNR lowers the second string a full step, can be adjusted to lower a half, not sure what the 4 pedals to the C6 do, I know it has the A and E splits, and that's where my C6 knowledge begins and ends. The tone knobs on the guitar have been bypassed, and the tone pots are no longer with the guitar, I believe they were 500K pots if you wanted to put them back in. The tuning peg for the bottom string on the C6 is somewhere in Nashville, the rubber foot for the bottom of the front right leg is somewhere in Kansas City. This guitar has been gigged non stop for 40 years, it stays in tune, plays in tune and it's built like a tank, it's a 'steel guitar', as in made with a steel frame. I have owned it/gigged it for the greater part of a decade or so, it's never let me down and it's been a real joy watching roadies and stage techs load and unload this guitar...it's like a twin with JBL's filled with concrete. The case has seen better days, but I do have it and it is functional, I would invest in a road case if you are going to gig with this guitar.

I would like to trade this guitar straight up for a single neck 3/4, not a student model guitar or a sierra 'artist' series. I will not ship this guitar, I am in Victoria, TX, if anyone wants to swap I can meet you in Houston, Austin, San Antone or Corpus.
