OK, folks, it's time to play that game again: Name the Mystery Jazz Steeler!

Here's how,

Visit www.SteelGuitarJazz.com and click on the left for the 'Listening Library'. Listen to the first song clip shown, then click the link there to come back here and vote for who you think it is. Simple? Sure, it is!

Oh, and while you're there, have a look around the site. Check out the other clips, videos, photos, etc. There are even some links to players websites where you can buy CDs, jazz tablature, rhythm tracks, etc.

OK, ready? set? Go! www.SteelGuitarJazz.com

Never heard him with piano, but this sounds like the clean, precise picking of Maurice "Reese" Anderson

Amazing! it's a cross between Rick Schmidt and Jerry Gleason. Which makes my answer a cross between "none of the above" and "I haven't a clue." Or else there's a scientific mystery ...

Would love to vote, but get an error when I click the listening library clips.
I'm especially interested since some are voting for my good frien Bill Stafford. I'm pretty sure I can recognize him.
Still love your CD

Hey Ray,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble voting. I hope there isn't any 'election fraud' going on!!

Maybe try a different browser if you can? Otherwise, just post who your vote would be for, and we'll count it anyway.

Thanks for the nice words about my CD too!

Best,
Jimbeaux
