The Corrs...It may not be your cup of tea, but this band is killer, the girls are all sisters and the guitarist is a brother.. The gals are all flawless beauties, and could be fashion models, but are KILLER players that do rock, Celtic, folk, pop, ballads with equal ease.. Check the drummer.. BIG hitter, time like a metronome and gorgeous... enjoy...... bob

They remind me of Fairport Convention during their "Liege and leaf" period, when Sandy Denny was singing with them.

I believe that same song is on the Fairport album.

I prefer their traditional stuff. They became a bit too `Poppish` for my liking.

I've always thought of their version of "When the Stars Go Blue" to be the real one, and those other guys like Ryan Adams ruined it (kind of like how Bob Dylan screwed up that "Watchtower" song by Hendrix... Mr. Green).

I sort of agree with Archie, they're a very "pop" sounding rock group. They're certainly nice looking kids, and fine musicians as well. I listened to 4 or 5 songs, and the singing, while good, wasn't what I'd term "outstanding".

I'd heard them on the radio a few times, but had no idea what they looked like. Thanks for the link, Bob.

Another example of how rock music meets a seemingly opposing musical form, adds bass and drums, and makes it a hyphenated form of rock, in this case Celtic-rock.

Good, though. Wink

I generally don't like Celtic music, and this is no exception. They do play well, though.

I met them a few years back at a meet & greet when I worked for Warner/Elecktra/Atlantic. They seemed genuine and good people. Like b0b, not a celtic fan but you can't deny talent.
