I was at the thrift store today and found this record which is in very good shape. The band is "Jim Carter & the Texas Rangers" except on the sleeve and the record itself it says "Jim Carter UND DIE Texas Rangers". The tunes are "Steel Guitar Boogie" with the name "Ronalt" listed as the writer. The flip side is "Arizona Train" with the names "Carter-Ronalt" listed as writer(s)

Also written in German on the record are the words "ALLE HERSTELLER UND URHEBERRECHTE VORBEHALTEN. OBERSPIELLING OFFENTUCHE AUFFOHRUNG UND RUNDFUNKSENDUNG VERBOTEN.

MADE IN GERMANY BY METRONOME RECERDS GMBH?

Anyone ever heard of this group? And are they American or German?

Here's a shot of the 45rpm record sleeve.....JH in Va.
