I joined the Rondo club. After a LP Junior bridge,
scorcher pickup and D'addario medium Chromes strings,
it is a nice lap. Sounds good thru my Super Champ XD amp.

So how much did the extra parts cost you all together (not the strings, but the pickup and bridge)?

Does the headstock look like it could handle a proper re-do to convert to 8 strings?

Same for the bridge end, to change it to string thru the body?

I don't think I would try it unless
you add a plate under the headstock first.
You could string thru the body.

Richard, does the headstock not seem substantial enuf to handle the stress?
I've contemplated the need for a backing plate as well.

Do you think there is enuf room to fit most tuners at 4 on a side?

Thanx

Yes it is, 4.125 inches high inside
the head stock. 1.75 W. at top and
1.45 W. at bottom.

Not bad for $159, the only thing they did wrong was the finish on the edges of
the f holes was sloppy, after new D'Addario EJ42 strings, sounds great for the price. SX RG1 FS Resonator SQUARE NECK no case, double boxed.
