One of the best E9th versions I ever heard is by Buddy Emmons and can be purchased from the forum. Just go to the Instruction tab and get Buddy's "Expedition E9th" course. Lots of other good stuff on this CD, too.

Buddy's version is more of a swing style while Jimmy Day and Herby Wallace recorded it as a slow ballad. (If you combine the two it makes an interesting arrangement.)

I Ricky, I'm a newbie to Forun so here's my 2 cents worth.I learnt the Jeff Newman version, a few years ago, but I've lost the Tab so I can't help, but I find it a really good version.

Hal Rugg did it (I think on the Alterd Ego Album)Best cut on this song IMO.
